Dr. Goutam Rath, is a professor in the Faculty of Pharmacy, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Siksha O Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Prof. Rath has been in the list of the top 2% of scientists Worldwide as declared by Stanford University for consecutive three years (2019 to 2022). He has been the recipient of India's top 10 best researcher award by Carrier 360 in 2017. He is also the recipient of the best innovator award by NRDC for his transfer technology in 2016. Dr. Rath is the leading scientist in cutting-edge platform technology (Nanotechnology) for site-specific targeted delivery of drugs and bio-actives. Dr Rath is an expert in the formulation development and delivery of drugs, vaccines and herbal bio-actives. He has received approximately 7 Crores in research grants from different funding agencies like DBT, DST, ICMR etc. He has published more than 190 scientific articles in the journal of international repute with a cumulative impact factor of his publication's figures of nearly 650 and more than 7000 citations to his credit. The innovative character of his research activity is also reflected in 23 patents out of the 3 patented technologies transferred to Govt. National Agencies and reputed companies.

Prof. Durga Madhab Kar

Dr. Durga Madhab Kar, working as Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacology at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Siksha O Anusandhan Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar since 2009. He has published over 75 research articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals with h-index-16, i10-index-25 and citations-1053. Dr. Kar is the leading scientist in the field of the development of phyto-medicine in neurodegenerative and metabolic disorders, including wound healing activity studies. He has extensively investigated antidiabetic, antiarthritic, antiparkinsonian, antiepileptic and other CNS activities of many herbs of interest. He received the Best Research Paper Award in 2006 from the Indian Drugs Manufacturer’s Association (IDMA). He has guided 45 M. Pharm. and 5 Ph.D. research projects and is currently guiding 5 M. Pharm. and 3 Ph.D scholars. He has presented more than 50 research works in various national and international conferences.

Bharat Bhusan Subudhi is working as a Professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Siksha O Anusandhan Deemed to be University, he did his PhD in 2008 from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. With expertise in pharmaceutical chemistry, he has skills in medicinal chemistry (computer-aided drug design, computational biology, synthesis, spectroscopy, pro-drug development, solubility enhancement, drug targeting) and drug analysis (new method development and bioanalysis using chromatography). Currently, he is heading the Drug Development and Analysis Lab. The thrust area of his current research is new drug development against the Chikungunya virus and drug repositioning through pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamics optimization. He has handled projects (worth 1.12 Cr) funded by DRDO/ DST/DBT and filed three Indian patents. He has published 65 papers in various international/national papers, presented 10 papers in various proceedings and published one book chapter. Seven PhD and fifteen M. Pharm. projects have been awarded under his guidance.
